Classifications pointsscales U.I.V.-RANKING!


In order to stimulate the interest of trackcycling in common and madison (americaine) in particular the U.I.V. intend to create a special ranking for

Madison/Americaine - Elite

 with as basis the most important international madisons during the year. For that purpose we have invented the following pointsscale:

A) World Championships/Olympic Games
 100 - 80 - 60 - 50 - 40 - 30 - 20 - 10

 75 - 60 - 50 - 40 - 30 - 25 - 20 - 15

C) World Cups/Continental Championships
 50 - 40 - 30 - 25 - 20 - 15

D) Other international madisons*
15 - 10 - 5

* Organized by members of the UIV and with the participation of at least 5 nations.
